It is day 13...
And I'm back from the trip of the 3 Gorges.
It was a very long trip.
And I managed to see many mountains, trees, plants and lakes.
It is something that Singapore doesn't have.
The mountains at 3 Gorges are so tall.
You literally have to lift your head up and take a look.
The journey back to the hostel was very long.
We set off at 7.30am.
And only managed to reach back at WUST at 3pm plus...
It was really long.
We have to thank our tour guides who were with us during the 3 Gorges trip.
It must have been tough on them.
They had to rush us so that we could be on time.
They answered all our questions.
And even went through the history of China with us.
They were very excellent tour guides.
Back at the hostel.
I decided to skip lunch cause I was too tired.
And dinner was at 7pm.
It was at the restaurant that Mr. Loh and Mr. Wong brought us to before.
The service was very good.
Food was served promptly.
They even gave us free milk tea and discount on the final bill.
At the table before dinner.

Fran enjoying her milk tea.

Mengzhen....

After dinner...
Some of us bought bananas.
And then it was back to the hostel.
And finishing up all the blogging and the assignments.
Lessons will resume tomorrow morning at 10am.
What a day it has been.
Some reflections on the 3 Gorges trip.
It has been some time since I boarded a ship.
Perhaps even 10 years.
It was a really nice experience.
I loved the feeling of the boat moving.
I seen things that I have never seen before.
Scenery that Singapore might never have due to the constraint of space.
And the experience on the ship.
Nonetheless, I have learnt so much.
I've learnt about the 3 Gorges.
The hard life of the people who had to paddle boats for a living.
What I won't forget is the beautiful scenery which took my breath away.
And the happy moments I had with my classmates and friends.
