Today is the day where we leave our hostel for the Wudang Mountain.
It is a 2 day 1 night trip.
And I will be back on Sunday night!
We gathered at 7am in the morning.
It is really bright and early...!
The journey was around 6 hours..
Really long too!
Having my breakfast on the journey.

We settled for lunch at a restaurant at around 1pm
Lunch was alright.
The lunch table...

Our 1st destination...

Due to the unpredictable weather...
We visited the tourist spots today.
All the mountains and the temples.
Climbing of the Wudang Mountain will be held tomorrow.
A group shot.

Some paintings in a temple.

Outside the temple grounds, we saw some students.
I believe they are students of the temple/monastery...
And some of them look really young too.
Over there.
We saw them practising their kungfu skills.
It looked like really hard work to me.
They had to do some running as well.
And their teacher had seemed rather strict to me.
I find it quite amazing that these young children are learning these skills at their age.
Because back in Singapore.
I believe most children are having quite a priviledge life.
They are mostly being pampered by their parents.
This is something worth learning from the children in the temple.
The students...

The many steps we had to climb!

The many steps we had to climb!
This place was built by 300 000 people.
Ordered by the emperor in the Ming dynasty.
The emperor liked this place due to the very good fengshui.
The temple with the good fengshui.
The temple with the good fengshui.
Wudang Mountain!
And it was also held at the same place where we had our lunch.
After dinner we headed to the hotel where we were going to spend the night.
Dinner!
As compared to our hostel rooms.
The water heater was good.
The room heated could be adjusted up to 32 degrees Celsius.
The beds were not as hard as the hostel.
The blankets were CLEAN and FLUFFY!
There was television too!
Overall...
Overall...
I wished we could stay at the hotel room for our entire trip at China.
Overall view of the toilet.
Overall view of the toilet.
Lying on my bed!
Most of us had supper.
And we watched television while having our supper which consisted of instant noodles.
Headed to bed around 12.30am.
And that marks the end of the 1st day at Wudang Mountain.
